Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Aibou service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Aibou is an AI-powered conversational companion designed to provide a private space for reflection and journaling. Aibou is not therapy, a medical device, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment. It is not a crisis support service. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or your local emergency services.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Aibou. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

• All paid subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. Your payment method is not charged until day 15.
• If you cancel before day 15, you will not be charged and your access continues until the trial ends.
• After the trial, your subscription renews on the billing period you selected: Aibou Plus is available at $89.99/year annually or $29.99/month monthly. Annual plans renew yearly; monthly plans renew on the same date each month.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from the account screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
• There are no refunds for partial billing periods after the free trial period has ended.

You agree not to:

• Use Aibou to harass, abuse, or harm any person.
• Attempt to manipulate the service into generating harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service without written permission.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Aibou is not a licensed therapist and does not provide clinical care. The responses generated by Aibou are not medical or psychological advice and should not be treated as such. Aibou is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or any emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately.

The Aibou service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or results. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aibou and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Aibou after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
